The goals of the Team Mac Racing Program are to provide youth age 8-18 in the Holland community with professional coaching, both in practice and during regattas--local, regional, national and international--that yields a team-oriented racing program, including instruction in the rules of racing and race strategies, and a spirit of cooperation and sportsmanship.

The summer racing program is especially designed to increase youth self-esteem and confidence through control and mastery of themselves and their boat.

It encourages mentorship of less experienced sailors through community service experiences in the sailing school.

The Summer Racing Program will also improve physical conditioning through appropriate training and activities.
