Racing program at MBJA

Level One racing: These are introductory “fun” races held on Friday nights during the summer. Only basic sailing skills are required.

Level Two racing: These are home (and a few away) regattas that offer on-the-water coaching supervision and a higher level of competition.

Team Macatawa: How would you like to be part of a sail racing team? MBJA has a special group called Team Macatawa which races locally and throughout the Midwest each summer.

Tuition at our sailing school has always been kept as low as possible, to make learning to sail affordable to anyone interested. The tuition covers only direct operating costs. For capital additions, the school has always depended upon contributions from a variety of generous benefactors. We need to keep growing and updating our sailing fleet as interest in junior sailing increases. Contributions of any size are most enthusiastically accepted.
