Sailing under the banner of your high school with a group of your peers forges friendships that last a lifetime. Currently, MBJA has students from Black River, Holland Christian, Holland Public, and West Ottawa who participate in our high school sailing program.

High school training is conducted with our college sailing program midweek. During this spring and fall seasons we train in Lasers and 420s. Practices are run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday after school from 3:30-6:30PM. Some schools let out a bit later, and accommodations will be made. We also do north-side pick-up/drop-off before and after practice each day.

In addition to weekly practices, there are several local regattas that take place on Saturdays throughout each season, as well as several out-of-state regattas sanctioned by the Midwest Interscholastic Sailing Association (MISSA) that allow sailors to compete against other high school sailing teams from throughout the Midwest!
